No 'Asset Editor' button

Aside from being completelly baffled by the new 'Asset Editor' arrangements in 2013, I have just realised that my Manage Tab>Additional Settings drop down> Asset Editor button has disappeared. I am certain it was there before as I have used it and WikiHelp (http://wikihelp.autodesk.com/Revit/enu/2013/Help/0

Have just realised that the Asset Editor (Material Assets) only appears in the Project Editing environment! I have no idea why since most material assets are integral with components, not projects? Sorry to have made a redundant post!
