Model hatch direction

How do you change the direction of a model hatch that is seen in 3D view?

I want to change the pattern of wood planking that goes horizontally to go vertically (in plan view).

Use the Tab key to select a line in the pattern, the use Rotate.

You can modify the surface pattern of model componets in a number of ways.  Here is a link to the section of the wikihelp on controling the surface pattern of mopdel elements.
