I am having a problem with mirroring. When I mirror a stair the hand rails
detach from the staim and mirror 90 degrees from the stir horizontally but
the same stair will mirror properly if I mirror vertically.
Anyone else having this problem?
Revit 6.1
Thanks
Doug

Try grouping the stair and rail first? I'm flipping stairs with no problem
here, but I have them grouped with some associated details.

Grouping worked to keep the railing with the stair when mirrored, but I still got a duplicate set of straight horizontal rails at 90 degrees to the stair I mirrored. The good news is that deleting this bonus set of railings doesn't seem to affect either the mirrored or original stair.

I've run into this too. Seems a bug. Grouping them helps, but you
still get an 'extra' railing to delete.

I'm having the same problem. New to Revit. Thought I was doing something wrong. Sounds like something we will just have to work around, huh?

hi,
I faced the same issue, but it seems grouping them solves the issue. After
grouping i did't had to delete any extra railing. FYI...
Hope in future releases we dont need to trick the revit this way...
