Import Instance not disappearing

I'm having trouble with the Revit ribbon not giving me the normal commands. For example, I'm trying to place a water closet family and the modify ribbon is giving me "Import Instance" instead of placement options (as in placing on a face) like it did just a couple days ago. I was placing these water closets in this same model just a few days ago and it was working fine. I've imported a few DWG files since then and now I'm getting this behavior. Any idea what I did to cause this and how do I undo it? See attached screen shot.

Meh, it happens sometimes.  Close Revit and re-open it and you should be fine.

You're right, that does fix it.

Glad I could help.  I find that the longer I keep Revit open, the more likely I am to have that problem.  Just something (else) to keep track of.
