we are using a custom font throughout the whole project, I need to use the same font within the stairs faimly , how do I change the "DN" in stairs to the other font?

As I recall, you can change the font for stairs in Revit 2013. I'm not sure about previous versions.

In Revit 2013, there are Family Types for Automatic Up/Down Direction and Fixed Up Direction.

You can control the graphics, including fonts in the type properties.

I'm using Revit 2013 , but for some reason I can't find the different families you mentioned and with the family I have I only have few options under the graphic section. I think I'm missing something. Could you explain in more details

you are awesome , I don't know how I missed that. I looked for the Automatic Up and Down family in the annotations folder by going to OPEN>FAMILY , but I couldn't find it , never thought of looking in the project browser.
