Flexing a blend above a column

Hi,
Made a concrete column family and a blend to go on top of the column (as a seperate family).
All works fine (in terms of flexing) except that when I flex the column, it goes right through the blend above it!
How do I get the column to flex (Up or down) so that the blend above it also moves?
Thanks in advance

Align and lock the blend to the top of the column. See attached image.
Hope this helps,

Thanks for the reply, I did align and lock the blend to the top of the column, when I flex the column, I get "Constraints are not satisfied"
I attached the file, please advise.
Many thanks

You have to align and lock the bottom edge of the blend to the Top Ref Plane. See the attached.
