Hi,
Please see attached image:
I have created a curved roof by extrusion but im looking to trim it as per the outline of the floorplan.
This is a real sticky point.
Any help would be much appreciated.

This is a good addition for my collection of "How would you model this roof?"
Not structurally logical, but revitly possible by subtraction of solids, and roof by face.

The illustration contains most of the solution. About the step by step details, please refer to Wikihelp, on the topics of Create Form, Cut Geometry, and Roof by Face.
