Door Numbering of Linked Revit Files

    Just a quick post.

Has anyone has figured a work around to tag doors from linked files and control their numbering from within the destination file. We know you can tag doors that are inside links, but the only display their number from the original linked file.  We are looking to keep the file linked, but be able to change the doors number where the file is linked into.

    Hope that make sense.

I do not think this is possible--and perhaps for good reason?

It could cause problems if not strictly enforces and communicated to the whole team.

    cheers

I am also trying to fnd a work-around for Door Numbering in links. Because it is possible to tag linked objects, the obvious solution would be to make the door number (mark) a property of the tag rather than the door object. I haven't tested this yet. Any ideas? Dale
