Centering curtain wall mullions on project grid

Hey all,
I was wondering if there might be a feature in revit that would allow us to automatically align some of the mullion in a curtain wall on our project (construction) grid.
We have grid lines 6400 apart from each others, and I've set the curtain wall grid to 800 fixed distance. What I do now is I measure the distance between a curtain wall mullion and the project grid and set that as the offset for that particular wall, but this means every time the wall moves I have to change it.
A friend told me about adaptive families and I was wondering if there is a way to do the same for wall types.
