e-SPECS is an application that automates and integrates your Revit models with construction specs. We have a tool that allows you to create new assembly codes and descriptions. Check out the on-line demos of it at www.e-SPECS.com.

I couldn't find the demonstration which allowed Assembly Codes & Descriptions to be edited. Is it a stand-alone tool?

The e-SPECS Binding manager allows you to create new, modify and remove Assembly Codes as well as distribute the uniformatclassification.txt file. It is part of the e-SPECS for Revit application.

Thanks, I have thew user's manual, now and see how the Assembly Codes and Assembly Descriptions can be modified.

I want to sort the exported data in Masterformat order. The Keynotes would appear to allow me to do this but I would want to edit the RevitKeynotes_Metric file. Is it safe to do this?

How many characters can the Description field hold?
