Hi Sorry, but .NET is not a language (neither is ODBC) Also, how do you access the Revit API - is it from within the programme like VBA in Autocad or do you need an external compiler? Sorry, but the API will be based on .NET technology, just as in AutoCAD 2006. Don't know the 'language' since it hasn't been released yet. I'm aware that ODBC is not a language. I would assume the Revit API will be ODBC compliant in some way, since the entire Revit database can currently be written out to a database file via the ODBC export option. No one knows (except the developers and their partners) how Revit's API will be accessed, since it has not been released yet. Victor, I gathered from those at AU who answered the same question that the API would be ActiveX based so you could use just about every language and IDE you wanted, including the .NET IDE, but not AutoLISP. ;-) From what I understand, it will not be dependent on the .NET framework.
