3D CAD export from Revit is incorrect

    Hey everyone,

Having a heck of a time figuring out why Revit is distorting my CAD export. I would like to get a flattened CAD file for use in Autodesk Impression. So I am placing the view on a sheet and exporting it. Please take a look at the attached images. The white background is from Revit and the black is from CAD. I've circled in red some of the obvious problems. Does anyone know why it would be coming out distorted from what I see in Revit? I'm using Revit 2012 but this also happens in 2013. Thanks

To check if the issue you are seeing is specific to the project, you could try creating a new project, create some similar elements, and see if you get the same result.

If you don't see the same result in the new project, then you can check for differences between the two projects to find what in your original project is causing the issue. The following blog posting has information on tools that may help troubleshoot the project:

Tools for Troubleshooting Unexpected Behavior in Revit

If you can reproduce the issue in a new project, it might be small enough that you could post it to the thread.
