I have seen this behavior once or twice and wanted to get this infromation out there. The symptoms are blank or limited drop-down fields in various areas:
1.) When a user tries to create a new project, there are no catalogs available from the Catalog drop-down field
2.) When a user tries to create a new project, there is only one currency to select
3.) When you click Edit > Preferences > Mapping there are no selections available from the "Publisher" drop-down
You can remove the QTO user configuration file and QTO will reset the QTO desktop layout and drop-downs. The file is located in a folder that looks something like this:
Locate the latest numeric folder, 18.104.22.168
In this folder, delete the user.config file and start QTO to rebuild a new config file. If you cannot see the folder in Windows Explorer, you may need to turn on hidden files and folders in Windows Explorer. Click Tools > Window Options > View and select “Show hidden files, folders, and drives”.
