Is it possible to set the sourcing of items to the Default Sourcing during a BOM import? I have used the BOM Import function successfully to bring a Bill of Materials into a Workspace item, but it does not use the Default Sourcing for that item. The result is having to click through every line of the BOM and edite the Sourcing to be Default. There must be a way to set this to default during import.

Being able to import Sourcing information along with the BOM is currently a feature request that is being looked at by the PLM 360 Development team to be included in a future release of the product.

Did you know you can post great enhancement ideas to the PLM 360 Idea Station?  Customer requests are very heavily weighted to be included in future releases of the product and it also gives you the opportunity to state how important a feature would be to your business process.

I have a similar problem as Icowgill and I see that the post is a qouple of months old. Has the ability to import Sourcing information beed added since the original post?

The functionality to import sourcing information with the BOM is not available at this time. 

Please post your business need to the PLM 360 Idea Station and let the PLM 360 Development team know how important this feature would be to you and your team.
