Mass Deletes from the Import Tool

If a user imports a large number of new items (not BOM items) and realizes a mistake has been made. Now the user has to delete all these item through the UI, which is very painful. The user would like to perform a mass delete with a list of specific items.

It would be nice for the user to use the existing match functionality in the import tool, with the option to delete existing records on match.

That would be a useful way to remove unwanted content from imports

Would this open up  the mass delete Items from excel as well ?
what security measure will need to be met in this delete action?

Delete can only happen if:
The one deleting is the one imported the content

No changes happened to the imported content

No links would have been add to the content

...

I think if we have all these exceptions it will bwe a useful extension for PLM360
