I have a 3d model in AutoCAD. I would like to attach text data to objects in the autocad file. I need the data to display in Navisworks when I hold my mouse over the object.
Is this possible?
Thanks

I have been able to have parametric information come across when exporting from Revit to dwfx and then opening in Navis.

In Navis, go to GLOBAL OPTIONS -> INTERFACE -> QUICK PROPERTIES and enable those. You can use CATEGORY: NOTES to display information you enter for the objects in AutoCAD via the PROPERTIES -> EXTENDED DATA -> NOTES box.
It might not be exactly what you're after, but maybe it's a starting point.

Thanks for you feedback. It looks like extended data is the way to go.
