Shift Key in Selection Tree Not Working

    Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this, and hopefully have a fix for it.

In Navisworks 2012, with the selection tree expanded, at one point in time in earlier versions, I used to be able to select an item, scroll down, press the "SHIFT" key, select another item, and all items in between would be selected (identical to the behavior in windows explorer).

Now the only way to select multiple items, is to hold down on the "CRTL" key.  This is very time consuming when you a lot of selections to make.  Even longer, when during this selection process, you point and click between two lines items, and everything gets deselected.  Pain in the behind is what it is.

I've attached a jpeg of the screen shot of what I'm talking about.

    Hopeful someone responds.

    Thanks in advance,

    KP

I have seen the same behaviour,

but when you click the bottom item first, then hold shift and scroll up and select the top item last,

in most cases this works for me.

    Strange, but true...

And I just found out something too.

It works if the first file you select is empty.

    Weird.

Glad I explained it well enough.  Hope someone comes along with a fix.

    Thanks for your time,

    KP
