Hi,
Not sure whether i'm the 1st one to encounter this problem.
I'm using Navisworks Manufacturing Manage 2010.
After installing, double clicking on the icon software pops out
message as in attached picture--"Unable to initialize adlm."
Is there something wrong with the service pack??
Now i need to reinstall the software....

I got exactly the same error after installing SP1. Using Navisworks Manage 2010 on an x64 system. However, if I start up the 32-bit Navisworks Manage it works fine - just the x64 one that will not start anymore.
Did an uninstall and re-install fix your problem?

Hi John,
Thanks for the reply on this.
You mean you installed both 32 and 64 bit Navisworks?
Actually i'm running on 32-bit window...
Me and colleague encountered same problem after installed.
Of course after reinstall it will be fine...
Now i'm trying to install the service pack again to see result.
We are interested more on the enhancement provided by service pack
and to proceed installing the subscription pack...

Autodesk Navisworks for Manufacturing is a vertical product built on top of Autodesk Navisworks. Please ensure you use the right Service Pack for the right product. Using the baseline Service Pack on a vertical is likely to cause licensing and other issues due to different serial codes etc. in addition to most likely wiping away the changes that the vertical teams have made.
I hope that helps,

Hi,
I am using a 64-bit Windows 7 machine - when installing Navis you get the option of installing the 32-bit and/or 64-bit versions - I installed both, and Navisworks Manage worked fine (both 32-bit and 64-bit) until installing the service pack. I now get the adlm error message when starting the 64-bit Manager - forcing me to use the 32-bit Manage (which seems to work fine) - very strange! This is the standard (non-manufacturing) Navis Manage, and I installed the standard service pack.
I have not tried re-installing Navis as the 32-bit is working fine.
Whatever the problem is, it seems specific to Navis - I also have AutoCAD Architecture 2010 x64 installed and that is still working without adlm errors.
