    Moving-Transforming from Point to Point

Just making sure I haven't missed something.  Is there a way to move something using the standard way in CAD, selecting the object and then moving by picking 'from' and 'to' points?  I know how to 'measure' then transform according to the values, but wanted the easier way like in CAD.  If it isn't there, then I would like it to be a "Wish List" item.  Also, i would like to see object snaps like in Cad, rather than the way it is shown now with the tri-pod cursor.

    Hello dennis ,

Currently, moving items can only be performed in a few ways and is different than AutoCAD and its verticals. You can use the point to point measure and transform function, as you are aware of.

You can also use the transform tool as well. Select an object, and access the Item Tools > Transform Palette. Click the “Move” tool to display the Navisworks “Gizmo”. Use the Gizmo to reposition your item.
