    Manage 2013 - Avatar Blob

    To all,

I just had Navisworks Manage 2013 installed on my system by my IT department so maybe I'm missing something with the latest version. In any case when I try and use the Avatar all I get is a blue blob, I've gone into the options to change it and there appears to be no change. Anyone else having this issue? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

It sounds like you have your Avatar set to Collision Volume.

Try changing this to Construction Worker (Default) or something else. Once changed, reopen your project to see the change.

For information on changing the Avatar, see the following help topic in the Navisworks help:

    Lance,

I figured it was the Collision Volume, but I've changed it multiple times to every option available to no avail. Is it possible the other avatars were not installed when my IT department put the latest version on my computer? Thanks for the help.

I found the avatars should be stored in the following folder:

    Avatars2013.png

If you are not finding the avatars shown above in the folder (C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Navisworks Manage 2013\avatars) on your system, then they may not have been loaded with Navisworks.
