hello,can i get the point of a clashresult

the ClashResult clash seems nothing about the clash point

but if i use navisworks to output the clash log(xml),it contains the clash point,what shoud i do?TKS

Have you checked ClashResult.Center ? I vaguely remember it is the clash point.

ClashResult.center is the center point of the ClashReulst's BoundingBox,it's different with the xml clash output report

Hi,

I doubt if you have did a real test to check whether the box enter is the clash point. The attached snapshots are what I tested with ClashTest.nwd. It looks to me the center is exactly the clash point.

Actually, if two objects are clashed, it must be a clash body, instead of a point, no matter how small the clash is. So it does not make sense with "two objects clash at one point".  But to provide some referenced information, we could say they clashed at a point. Since the clash is a body, the only meaningful value is the center of the body box.

I think you are right, I used the wrong point of view because of the different units of the file
