    adviser will not finish launching

    Hello, my Moldflow adviser pulls a license, I can see that.   And it show it using 50% CPU, and it blanks out a section of the screen in the middle, which it won't re-draw, but it never finishes launching.   It keeps using 50% CPU and just hangs.   Nothing happens.   Is there a log file?    Should it have installed if the hardware was not good enough?       Thanks.

    Hi,

    need a bit more information on this:
    - is the Adviser user interface up at all?
    - or does it hang after display of splash screen (the picture displayed at start up, before user interface)?


    A reason can be that during installation, the default project folder such as disk:\My AMI 2012 Projects, is
    pointing to a network drive.

    Yes, that occurred to me, that it uses the user's documents folders and now we put that on the network.    I have to wait and see still if that is the case.    Thanks.
