How to convert MDT part to Acad wireframe or solid?

I need to convert some MDT parts and assemblies into 3D solids or wireframes
that can be opened or imported by generic Autocad. Is this possible? If I
just do a Save As DXF the parts are not visible in vanilla Autocad. I tried
exploding a part and that doesn't work either.

Easiest way is to do AMACISOUT on the part, which will create an ACIS
    (*.sat) file.

    Then ACISIN into AutoCAD!.

Only thing you might need to check is the ACISOUTVER system variable as
AutoCAD can only read earlier versions of acis, whereas MDT can export later
ones (and also earlier compatible ones if configured correctly)

If you want wireframes, then load exp2wire.arx and run exp2wire
if you want the solid then use amacisout

    Joe,

I don't recall seeing what version of plain jane AUTOCAD you are trying to export too.

Would make a difference in the answer you would get here.
