What does the scale mean on the printed maps? At the bottom of your mapguide window you have 1:2500 and then next to it you have 1667X1682 (ft), so what does the 1:2500 mean? How would you print a map that is 1" = 300' for instance?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

1:2500 is standard way to indicate scale in cartography. It means 1 unit =
2500units. If your map is in feet you just divide the 2500 by 12 to get the
1" = ?? feet.

Oh and I forgot. To print to a specific scale, right click in the map view.
Then it is print>page setup. It is at the bottom of the dialog.
