I have floor plans in AutoCAD format. Can I use these to create Facility Space Plans using MapGuide.

Yes. MapGuide can read and display those DWG's directly or you can export
the component layers out to SDF files and database tables (for point and
text features). MapGuide works very well for FM applications.
