Is it possible to register a installed trial version or I have to uninstall it and then install again the one with the serial number?

You can register your version simply by going in to serverconfig.ini that is in Autodesk\MapGuideEnterprise2009\Server\Bin. Just search for "SerialNumber = " and put in your serial number and change "LicenseServerPath = @127.0.0.1" to point to the right IP for your license server.
