I am attempting to connect via ODBC to a PostgreSQL database via MapGuide Studio 7. I can successfully test the connection however it will not display any tables. I have tried two different PostgreSQL ODBC drivers with the same result. Has anyone had this work successfully?
Is native FDO support for PostgreSQL planned?
Thanks for any help or advice.

The City of Nanaimo and Refractions Research are planning to release an
Open Source PostGIS FDO provider later this fall. This will not work
with the current Open Source MapGuide release though, as the FDO
framework has changed considerably between 3.1 and 3.2.
My hope is that this provider will make it into the set of FDO providers
distributed with MapGuide Enterprise and Map 3D eventually (the sooner
the better).
In the meantime, there is an OGR provider with PostGIS read support
available here:
https://mapguide.osgeo.org/files/documents/12/253/ OGRProvider_win32_pq.zip
I haven't used this myself, but it has been discussed considerably on
the OSGeo MapGuide Users mailing list.

Hi Jeff,
There's a provider available on the FDO website as part of the Windows
SDK package. These are not coming with MapGuide by default yet.
http://fdo.osgeo.org/content/fdo-332-downloads
And some usage notes here:
http://trac.osgeo.org/fdo/wiki/FdoPostGISNotes
I'm not using it myself; my PostGIS initiative didn't get off the
ground. My understanding is that others are though...
