Autodesk MapGuide Enterprise

Is it possible to use other background maps same style as Google maps are used? I mean that user's browser would load map directly from map provider and Mapguide or AIMS would provide other layers above that. I think that this can be done using OpenLayers and WMS but how do I do it with FlexibleLayout?

Flexible weblayouts use Openlayers - as far as I know. There is some documentation available:
