Hi!
I've been trying to define a point layer based on data stored in a MSAccess table through the ODBC FDO. After selecting the X and Y columns for the geometry and an arbitrary XY coordinate system, when testing the connection, or saving the new layer the following error is displayed:
An exception occurred in FDO component.
Error reading spatial context *XY-M* from XML, invalid pos value '418405.000000 3067424.000000'
Any idea on what is going on? We have downloaded a newer ODBC FDO from OSGEO but the problem keeps happening.

Hi Ingenieur Inconnu,
we have the same problem on german Windows. I suppose you have a french
Windows system. Could you please tell me, if you are able to build layers
based on (uncompressed) raster files? It is not possible on german Windows.
Kind regards,
Thomas

On the OSGeo discussion list, people with non-english installations were running into problems with localized number formatting. They had to replace their periods with commas. Have you seen this?

Hello!
Yesterday Melkor found out that the MapGuideServer guess the localization settings from the user that runs the process. As a first approach we changed the user that runs the process to one that has a US locale. Having this changed, MapGuide Studio starts to work correctly with the default Data Editor.
Hope this will help with the raster problem also.
If you wish to change the locale of the System account on a non-english Windows, here is an article that talks on how to do it.
