Hello,
How does one set the number of processors than can be utilized in MGE? I
have a 4 core machine yet MGE only utilizes 1 processor at a time. I have
set proc afinity for IIS and left MGE the other 3 processors.
Env is:
SW -
Windows server 2008
MGE 2010 update 1
IIS 7
HW:
Dell Poweredge 2950
Single Xeon Quad core X5470 proc
Thanks in advance
Tom

Unfortunately there is no setting to control this. That being said MGE will use more cores as needed depending on the providers and requests being made. Have you removed SDF from the connection pooling excluded providers list in the serverconfig.ini?
What other providers are you using and how many concurrent users?

Dave

Thanks for the reply Dave,
No, I have not removed connection pooling. I've just barely got the site up
and hobbling at this point so still have to get into optimization. Just
trying to maximize use of hardware purchased.
I'm going to guess up to 30 concurrent users based on logs from our MG6.5
site
