Every time I want to make any changes in Studio 2012 I have to remember to rename the folder where the tile cache is stored. If I do not do this and save my changes to my map, the entire folder is deleted. I am hoping someone has a fix for this.
Thank you,
Kirk

This is simply due to MapGuide/AIMS taking a sledgehammer approach to tile cache invalidation.
Simply put, *any* change to Map Definition XML content will trigger a tile cache flush. So until a smarter way of doing this has been figured out, your workaround is the only way to preserve the tile cache.
