Hello,
I would to know if I can load an animated file in the Maguide Studio 2007 as a data file. I know it allows only jpeg, tiff and so on to be loaded but why not a GIF? Is there any way I can load an animted file and place it as a layer on my map? Thank you.
Dimitrios

This is the forum for commercial MapGuide 6.5 and below. The only public
support mechanism for MapGuide Open Source is currently through the OSGeo
MapGuide users email list at osgeo.org. See this page:
https://mapguide.osgeo.org/servlets/ProjectMailing ListList to sign yourself
up. You can also search the archives where a lot questions have
been asked in the past.
Regarding your specific question: I don't think it would work as a layer
since GIF is a non-georeferenced format. You may be able to overlay it on
the AJAX map via DHTML or some other means, however.
