Hello, I have a customer trying to install AutoDesk MapGuide Server Enterprise 2007 and he can't specify which drive to install it to. Our standard frowns on apps being installed on the C drive. Is there a way to change the installation path?
Thanks
Jim
Thanks

Hi Jim,
Try installing Autodesk MapGuide Server Enterprise 2007 from the command prompt:
msiexec /i Setup.msi INSTALLDIR="D:\MyFolder"

Thanks for that Bill. I'll have to give that a try. With the Open
Source package, I found that even when specifying an alternate path for
the Web Extensions, I had to do a lot of manual configuration to get it
to work properly. See this message:

Perhaps that commandline switch will provide me with the missing link of
getting the Server installed on an alternate drive as well.
Of course, it's quite possible that the OS install package is different
than Enterprise.
