Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade some code that worked with 2010 and the ajax viewer to work with the fun new fusion viewer.  I apologize if I've missed something - but I can't for the life me me figure out how to get the selection XML from a selection set using the Fusion API on the client side.  I'm working from outside the Fusion application, with my application reaching into Mapguide via an iframe.

Is there some equivalent to GetSelectionXML in the Fusion API?   I've tried generating the selection XML from the web tier - but without a list of key field values it just returns all the entities. 

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I got this resolved.  The Fusion API now has nothing to do with selection XML (which is nice).  When I tried getting the selection from the webtier - i just did it wrong =).    I wrote about this in more detail on my blog. Mapguide 2011 Fusion and Selection Xml
