save mwf to dxf/dwg in win AxMGMapCon

Hi
I´m quite new to all the concepts of gis and mapguide 6,5.
I have a win application, Ms Visual Studio 2005, vb.net.
The customer wants to save a selection of the map (.mwf file) to a dxf or dwg file to export it to a gps device. Is it possible to do that? I have only managed to save a png image of the map.
I have looked through the api reference but I have not found anything useful.
