Does anyone know how (or if its possible) to display mapguide coordinates (in the bottom bar) in degrees minutes seconds instead of decimal degrees ?

Converting decimal degrees to DMS is not a problem,
its having them display in the MG status bar.  As far as I understand there
is no programmatic way to access that area of the map.  However you can
display DMS location of the center of your map anywhere else on your
page.
