There are countless posts on this subject and no solutions.
Mapguide does not appear to be able to use MySQL for either secondary data sources or thematics despite being able to enumerate the tables and columns in the author dialogue boxes.
As soon as you load the layer you get a generic 'ODBC driver does not support the requested properties'. The queries work fine when issued directly to the database so it is not a SQL issue.
I have enabled logging through the MySQL odbc connector and also tracing through the windows DSN manager and neither logs are filled suggesting that the ODBC portion is never being called.
Anyone got a working solution and ideas on this?
