This is probably a windows question but does anybody know how to permenantly dock a toolbar?
I inadvertantly dragged my toolbar across the screen. Now, every time I go back to that window the toolbar repositions itself across the screen in the new location.
I dragged the toolbar back to its original location, but it does not remain there when I go to a different window and come back.
Anybody got any ideas?
Thanks.

I think it is a long standing problem. Try opening the type of file that you are having
trouble with the toolbar in , and then place it, and now close inventor. I don't think it
gets written to the registry until Inventor closes.

jwmann, I've lived with that for about 3 weeks now and it is VERY frustrating. I tried to do what Kent recommended but didn't have any success, did you? Jason

you must do a hard shut down of inventor start inventor open file dock the tool bars then hit the big x in the upper right corner.

Sometimes that still does not work. This was
an issue in 5, said it was to be fixed in 5.3 and now 6 still has the
issue. Sometimes the will just not stay in place. Play around with
configurations and eventually you'll find one that will stick (and then one day
a few months down the road it will magically unstick
<rolleyes>)
