Hello, I'm a MDT 6 user and I was just wondering if Inventor had means to perform tolerance analysis on an assembly. The MDT way to do this is very cumbersome so I was looking at new software but will use inventor if it can do the job.

If you mean setting dimensions at maximum or minimum tolerance, IV can do
it.

Is there any ability to do a tolerance analysis with GD&T?

Not that I know of. That would be a pretty cool and useful feature to have.
You can set tolerances to min/max/median/nominal and then check for interferance in the assembly environment.
