    I`m trying to shell out the Neck on this volute but it does not work with the Shell feature.What can i do to get the Neck (sweep 1 ) to be Shelled out?

    The version attached is 2013

    The Shell commands works on an entire solid body - not just a feature.

     

    Either - create that geometry first in your history tree and shell before creating the rest of the geometry

    or

    create that geometry as multi-body solids so that it can be shelled (you can then Combine if desired, but it looks to me like that should be multi-body anyhow).
