That could be down to the way WorkPlanes were attached to faces in previous versions. Try some new
components from scratch in 6 and the sketches might be a little more stable and less likely to go
walkabout.

The part was designed entirely in 5.3 on the same machine. Nothing changed
there. I've had this problem before with complex parts becoming unstable.
We haven't installed 6 yet so I'm still working in 5.3.
My point was that frequent use of "rebuild all" lets you know when the part
has flaked out so you can fix it before a real cascade disaster happens.
