killing a command or process

I am using Inventor 2009 (soon to be upgrading). Is there any way to stop a command or process like the 'esc' key in AutoCad? I find this can be useful when adding a constraint in an assembly.

Dennis,
Does this mean that the spell checker that i've been asking for 9 years is going to get included. And by that i mean a real spell checker, one that covers the text editor, all leader text and properties. Any CAD system should have as the first and foremost module, in it before any other thing should be a spell checker.

It's always been there; CTL/ALT/DEL, END TASK.........some say that this
method is somewhat barbaric but that's because you don't watch Conan the
Barbarian often enough!

Been using CAD* since the DOS days when CAD was AUTOmatic reboot. Maybe that is why 2010 is now AutoCAD Inventor?

Things are no different today. I started on 2.17 (might have been 2.15)
on a 8086 (pre 286)and 512K of RAM. Back then the 286 hardware with
monitor cost $15K in 1986 dollars.. So, why do we whine about $2,000
desktops and $3,000 laptops?

Now, fast forward... My Inventor 2008-2010 is very stable, but my
Internet Explorer version 8 crashes or locks up at least 6 times a day.
Funny thing though... Firefox 3.5 is rock solid. Makes you wonder where
the source of instability comes from.... could it be MS? Nah! 🙂

Dennis, the MS Police are on their way so assume the pat-down position and
just wait......and remember, resistance is futile.

I've only been asking for 8 years myself. I'm sure it'll be along any day
now, they just have to finish grafting the flight surfaces onto a few swine.
Of course I just realized that since this is the year that swine flu, maybe
it'll finally happen! 🙂
