I have posted to CF an iPart that I have recently created. During creation,
I invoked the iPart author a number of times and deleted the resulting table
at least once. The iPart works fine, but the children created show two
embedded tables - one is the correct one, and one is a of the deleted
attempt. The parent doesn't show this extra table. How can I get rid if the
table in the children?

I don't know Karl...
(BTW the past you posted makes 2 embedded files in my children too)
I just went through the process of deleting the ipart table. That exposed
the embedded sheet. So I deleted it in the factory then proceeded to
recreate the ipart table (I copied the excel data to a safe place so I could
just paste it back in). When I was done I made a child and what do you
know, it had 2 embedded sheets..arggggrr...
Maybe if you deleted all traces of the 3rd party apps and the table then
saved the copy as a plain file, then made an ipart out of it, it might work.
Personally, I'd just leave them in the children...

I know. It's probably possible to fix but there is another old saying..
If it ain't broke don't fix it...
You have to decide if it's worth the hassle.
