holes around the oustside of a plate?

Is there an easy way to array holes around the outside of a rectangular
    plate.
What I have is 5ft x 10ft plate. I need 30 holes across the ends and 60 down
    the sides.
Its not that I can't get the holes in. But it seem to take longer than it
should, because you can't array an arrayed hole.
What I really want is the regular array but leave out the center holes.

you can do the full array and supporess the inside features that you dont
    want.

    see CF for an example.

OK I see what you did but question
#1 how do I select 1600 holes quickly?
#2 Arraying 1800 hole makes a very heavy drawing. does it get lighter when
    you suppress the 1600 holes?

    Les

FYI R6 allows you to array features along a path.

Very easy to do with offset line

I guess there is no quick way to select that many holes :smileyhappy:

Couldn't you just put 4 holes and have 4 arrays? You could put 1 hole in
    each corner.

    Yep
That's what I do. But thetas why I think there should be a faster way.
I guess in Inventor 6 it does it the way I want it to.

Do you get to have different spacing (or space to fit) for each side? in one
    step?
