hinge

I`m stuck at this point.I have 2 brackets which they both need cutting so as to create a hinge.The part is sheet metal formed.How does one make the cuts so as to create the hinge and also how can i flatten these 2 pieces please?

I'm not sure how you need these cut but I attached one possibility. Look at the browser to see how it was done. As to the flat, pick a face a click on "Create Flat Pattern".

I also did a bit of a search and there is a cut across bend??..not sure how that works but i will try and find more info...thanks for your solution

OK...1 bracket will have the middle third cut out and the other hinge will have the 2 outside cut off leaving just a third in the middle....Thank you

I think you'll need two different brackets. See attached.
