I have a .ipt part, and am trying to determine any assemblies which use it. Is there a way to figure out all of the assemblies in which this part is a component?

Right-click on the .ipt file, select "Design Assistant".  From the "Tools" menu, select "Find"-"Where Used".  There are a few parameters to set from there... select carefully (probably want "Include Sub Folders" checked).

Note... I don't entirely trust it... but take a shot, I'd be interested to hear how it worked out.
