can someone convert some catia files to inventor for me? there are 4 parts
ea. like
14-15 meg. camshafts. the extension of these parts is *.CATpart

Do you need to save the catpart as (?) to import it into Autocad ?

This doesn't make sense.
The software has changed in 4 years.
AutoCAD will now import Catia files directly.
