display when projecting geometry

Does any one know why points do not show up when projecting geometry? I know the points are there, but I can't see them.

Have seen the complaint before, but don't have it myself. It might be tied to
screen resolution; point is x number of pixels (?). I run at 1024 x 768 (old
eyes). What video card are you using?
