hi all - i wanted to know if there is any way to limit the range of motion of a part. i need to limit the range of motion of a piston to be four inches of travel. currently the picton is constrained to be concentric with the housing it is in, but once the assembly is put together the piston can be dragged through the housing . . . .

    Thanks so much -

There is a workaround way defined at my site.

    See Inventor tips & tricks 2011 http://www.mymcad.com/

I havent tested to see if this still works in R6
