I am in the process of creating an .IPT of a casting. I created a
sketch and then returned to the model and it gave me a "[ERROR] A cyclical
constraint dependency was detected. ". What does this
mean? It wont let me delete the sketch, I deleted all of the objects in the
sketch and still no luck. Any suggestions?

From what I understand a constraint is trying to solve geometry which is
dependant on the original geometry creating a cyclic dependency, something
IV doesn't like. Just cause you have deleted all geometry from sketch
doesn't mean that IV has let go of this problem. The file might now be
corrupted. I would copy part and try, rebuild all and redefine the problem
sketch by RMB. And try deleting other sketches / geometry that the problem
sketch is built on. When you have a solution go back to the virgin part. The
other solution is to zip up part and post to CF.
